2.Adopting the 2027 Tax Budget of the City of Shaker Heights, Ohio, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2027, and submitting the same to the Cuyahoga County Budget Commission through the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer. (FIN)
3.Authorizing the execution of Then and Now Certificates by the Director of Finance and the payment of amounts due for various purchase orders, and declaring an emergency. (FIN)
4.Administrative acceptance of the approval of the City Planning Commission and confirmation of the granting of a Conditional Use Permit to Neighbor’s Art Shop & Studio, applicant, for a specialized instructional school, located at 3431 Lee Road, pursuant to Section 1213.05 of the City’s Zoning Code. 5.Authorizing the application for and acceptance of a grant of Community Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) funds in the amount of $150,000 from the Cuyahoga County Department of Development’s 2027 Competitive Municipal Grant Program for Winslow Road Traffic Calming, and declaring an emergency. 6.Authorizing the application for and acceptance of a grant from the Cuyahoga County Department of Development 2027 Community Development Supplemental Grant (“CDSG”) Program in the amount of $50,000 for Winslow Road Traffic Calming, and declaring an emergency. (SPW), (FIN)
7.Authorizing the City to apply for and accept a Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD) grant in the approximate amount of $1,575,000, from the NEORSD Member Community Infrastructure Program (MCIP), for the Winslow Road and Avalon Road Sewer Improvements Phase 1 Project, and to enter into any needed agreements with NEORSD to receive such funds, and declaring an emergency. 8.Authorizing a second amendment to the contract between the City and Greenman Pederson, Inc. (GPI), for additional construction administration and inspection services for the Van Aken Pedestrian Improvements Project, at an added cost not-to-exceed $15,000, which will bring the total contract amount to $79,345.32, and declaring an emergency. (SPW), (FIN)
9.Accepting the lowest and best bid, and authorizing a contract with Infinity Construction in the total amount of $2,025,100 for the City Hall Addition and Renovation Project, and declaring an emergency.
