6. Affirming the Mayor’s appointment of JERI E. CHAIKIN as Clerk of Council for a two-year term, and designating the DIRECTOR OF LAW and the ASSISTANT DIRECTORS OF LAW as Clerks of Council Pro Tem in the absence of the Clerk of Council.
7. Amending Ordinance 17-21, enacted on February 27, 2017, to extend the term of that tax increment financing structure for an additional thirty years pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 5709.51, and authorizing the execution of additional instruments, agreements, certificates, and other documents deemed necessary in connection therewith, and declaring an emergency. 8. Authorizing the acceptance of grant funds in the amount of $12,000 from the Cuyahoga County OVI Task Force for additional traffic enforcement patrols, and declaring an emergency. (SPW), (FIN)

Authorizing a contract with the City of Solon, Ohio for the provision of jail services for prisoners of the City of Shaker Heights, for a period of up to six years beginning January 1, 2024, at a base cost of $216,000 per year for the first three years, and increasing to $236,028 in the 6th year, and declaring an emergency. Amending Sections 110.03, 110.05, and 110.18, and enacting new Section 110.27, of the Municipal Income Tax Chapter within the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City to comply with changes made to the State income tax code in House Bill 33, which was signed into law on July 3, 2023, and declaring an emergency.
